MyChart puts your health information in the palm of your hand and helps you conveniently manage care for yourself and your family members. You can check whether push notifications are enabled under the Account Settings within the app. Select features are also available on Apple Watch. To access MyChart, you must create an account with your healthcare organization. Then, make sure you have push notifications enabled to receive updates on your device when new information is available in MyChart.

These features might become available to you after your healthcare organization starts using the latest version of Epic. Until someone in my community had shared their journey with Ochsner and their ability to communicate via messages and Zoom with their doctors, I was not familiar with the app for Ochsner nor had I ever been a patient there.

Hard and confusing and now inconsistent to print out some reports from Phone It seems like the format keeps getting redesigned so I often spend time looking for things that I used to be able to find. Every time I look, I find something not quite right sometimes unlikely to be a problem other times it could be. I do like getting test results. This is the beginning of how a patient can integrate all of their medical information in one place to enable their eyes and the medical practitioners are looking at the same scheduled appointment and test results and prescriptions and written communication. The app works perfectly but user experience will vary based on how well you can fully implement its features.
